I am super new to the motorcycle riding world, but have wanted a bike forever. I also just finished my riding course and have been looking for my very first bike. I have been reviewing and studing every cruiser out there for a long time. I got a little frustrated with all my options, and I still couldn't put my finger on the bike I absolutely wanted. I didn't fall upon this bike until I had almost made my final decision to go with an '05 Kawasaki Mean Streak. I just couldn't afford that bike and it felt a little intimidating even to sit on. I wanted a bike "NOW" and couldn't wait any longer, so I bought the '05 Kawasaki 500 LTD. While purchasing the bike I honestly felt a little sad because I was setteling on a bike I felt almost forced into. Once on the bike I haven't been able to get of the darn thing. Now I feel like if I hadn't bought this bike, it would have been a huge mistake. Plenty of power, good looks, very high fun factor, very well built, and perfect for the beginner. Every time I ride I am grinning ear to ear, I would recommend this bike to anyone. I can't wait until the break-in period is over so I can go full speed. When I get around to buying the "Mean Streak" I will still keep this bike. For now the 500 LTD is satisfying my hunger more than I ever thought possible.
