USA - The AMA Extreme International Ice Racing Series (XIIR). is a series of 14 motorcycle and ATV races held in hockey arenas throughout the United States from December 30, 2004 to February 26, 2004.
The high-speed events feature 500 cc methanol-burning Speedway motorcycles and performance ATVs, equipped with studded tires, speeding around the tight track of a hockey arena. Two open ATV classes will be featured at every race.
“Ice racing fans enjoy the fast action and spectacular crashes,” said Ted Bradley, race coordinator for SuperTrapp. “Every one of the racers and organizers are very passionate about the sport of ice racing. They put on an exciting show for the fans and represent our product with a high level of professionalism. We are privileged to be on board with the XIIR series in 2005.”
